Chartr reports on AI Venture funding this week:
“According to data out earlier this week from analytics firm Dealroom, the AI funding frenzy continued at pace last year with ~$110 billion pouring into the sector globally, around 33% of the total investment in the entire VC space. That figure includes multi-billion dollar 2024 funding rounds from the likes of OpenAI ($6.6 billion) and Databricks ($10 billion), but money was flooding into companies including those picked up by the world’s best-known startup accelerator, Y Combinator.”
