B.C.’s Tax Credit Boost Supports AI-Driven Learning

by BrainStream Chief Marketing Officer Ya-Hui (Laura) Kao

In my last post, I explored AI in content marketing. Today, I’d like to share news that’s highly relevant to our industry: the B.C. government will increase the Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit (IDMTC) from 17.5% to 25%, effective September 2025, and make it permanent. This is more than an economic incentive—it signals strong support for innovation in the tech sector.

For BrainStream, this development is especially encouraging. Beyond financial incentives, it highlights the growing importance of personalized learning combined with accountability—areas where BrainStream is uniquely positioned to deliver value. Our AI platform not only provides customized learning experiences, but also integrates comprehensive monitoring and performance tracking mechanisms, ensuring measurable outcomes and actionable results for both educational institutions and learners.

The future of education lies in integrating AI with EdTech, supported by innovation-friendly environments. We’re excited to be part of this evolving landscape.

What are your thoughts on the future of AI in education?
